Step 1

Open your account

Use My Work and sign in with ChatGPT. Use the same account each time. Complete your member profile so the Lab owner can connect your account with the appropriate team.

Step 2

Receive a project assignment

The Lab owner assigns a project template to your approved profile or active project group. My Work displays the assignment, scope, start date, due date, and assignment notes. Ask for clarification when the first deliverable or review point needs confirmation.

Step 3

Prepare the agreed deliverable

Open the complete project template. Review its purpose, stages, outputs, and readiness requirements. Keep the Research Intern Review Workbook alongside your assigned template. Use approved source materials and the work location specified by your project lead.

Step 4

Follow the weekly rhythm

HIER Research Education OS is the weekly learning and reflection destination. Follow the cohort instructions for submitting evidence, discussing it, recording decisions, and reflecting. Cycle creation requires administrator or principal investigator authority in the current cycle studio. Request your cycle assignment when a cycle has yet to be provided.

Step 5

Submit for review

In My Work, choose your assignment, add a descriptive title, summarize what you completed and checked, and link the approved document or file. Save the submission and confirm its receipt. A saved submission enters owner review; feedback and revision requests appear in your history.

Submit my deliverable
Step 6

Carry the feedback forward

Read the review, address requested revisions, and submit a new dated version under the same assignment. Preserve prior versions. Use the owner feedback to define your next action and weekly reflection.

If a step needs help

Open My Work and use Get help. For assignment questions, include your research interests and weekly availability. For a cycle error, include the exact Site address, the action selected, and the error wording. For a template issue, include the template title and link.

If you are still completing account access, return to the Intern Welcome Hub and use your established program support channel. Share operational details and exclude passwords and confidential research information.

While project placement is being confirmed

Continue the assigned curriculum, review the workbook, and prepare questions about the template and project scope. Begin substantive project work after the assignment and relevant readiness conditions are confirmed.
