ASYNC RESEARCH LAB

The Seven-Day Research Cycle

Illustrated pathway for this page

A focused cadence for evidence, discussion, decisions, and reflection across distributed research work.

CURRENT CYCLE FLOW

Days 1–2

Submit

Post a structured project, manuscript, methods, learning, or compliance update with its evidence and open dependencies.

Days 3–4

Discuss

Review assigned work; ask focused questions; offer critique, endorsements, responses, or documented votes.

Days 5–6

Decide

Cycle Leads close decisions, name action owners and reviewers, record dispositions, and escalate unresolved blockers.

Day 7

Reflect

Submit closing commitments and reflections; review dependencies; prepare the recap for authorized human approval.

Cycle record and carry-forward

Each completed cycle preserves the submitted evidence, discussion trail, decisions, assigned actions, reviewer records, reflection, and approved recap. The next cycle begins with approved priorities and unresolved dependencies carried forward.
